David Batchelor Evergreen Tree 2003 Role Senior Designer, Project Manager Brief Part of a series of permanent installations for the new Norman Foster complex of buildings on the South Bank of the Thames at Tower Bridge, based on the theme of "Tree". This 7.5m tall lightbox had to be watertight and was engineered to withstand high windloading, as it is installed in a courtyard between two buildings at the rivers edge.
